Hair loss – what we need to know about it?

It may be disturbing for anyone, no matter woman or a man, to find out that he is loosing hair every day! But how can we tell if we are really loosing our hair? What can we do to prevent it?

As for the first question - it is normal to loose between 80 and 100 strands per day. These numbers are of course specific for each individual but in most common cases are close to the mentioned values. So if you happen to loose more than 100 strands per day, you should take precautions to prevent the process of hair loss.

There are few very important rules that we should follow in order to stop the hair loss and maintain strong and healthy hair:

- Do not wear your hair on really tight ponytails!

- Do not treat your hair too often with different cosmetics procedures as hair coloring. You should not treat your hair more than once per six months.

- If you experience problems with your hair and nails you probably have a lack of vitamins and proteins and you should consult with your doctor.

- It is always a good advice to cut your hair shorter in occurrences of hair loss.

- Check if your parents have experienced problems with their hair, the hitch might be in your genetics.

These are some very simple advises on how to take better care for your hair. The thing you should never forget is, that the stress in you life might cause many problems including hair loss. So before worrying about your hair please consider a vacation or a short break from your work or troubles. Try to spend more time with your love ones and your body will award you for that.
