Throughout time, history and folklore gemstones have been very sought after objects. Aside from being beautiful and luxurious they have been known to carry life energy. Each stone carries many different properties or meaning. They have been used throughout the world to attract luck, love, wealth, stability, and health. Gemstones are also powerful additives in meditation. The gem a person picks out is not just because one stone brings you protection; it may not be as well received to another. Each person will react differently to the stones they choose to wear or use in meditation. Keep that in mind when choosing a stone for a specific reason gets a feel for it before you use it. Here are some of the most common gemstones and their meanings.
